Predator Cycling Announces Camp Aero

Camp Aero is set for Nov. 18, 2007 at the Encino Velodrome Session I begins at 10 am followed by Session II at 2 pm.

What is Camp Aero?

At Camp Aero, Predator is able to makeup to six position changes in a single session, enabling the rider to reach optimum efficiency. Average improvement for a 40-kilometer time trial is 1:30.

Predator made a splash at the 2007 SCNCA TT in Lake LA. John Slover rode his TT to a fourth place finish in the Men’s Masters 40-44 group at 50:42. Debbie Betts took fourth in the Women’s Elite 4 at 1:01:01. Nate Loyal placed 18th in Elite Men 1-2 at 51:38 and Tom Rieber 21 in Elite Men 3 at 53:05. We want to say great job for coming out and participating.

The first Camp Aero at Encino Velodrome was a big success. At Camp Aero our goal is to make the rider more efficient in their aero position. We calculate the riders cwA and their efficiency on the bike. In most cases riders see a 15% to 20% reduction in cwA. In the case of one top US Pro woman, Dotsie Bausch, we found a 12% reduction in cwA, which results in savings of one minute in a 30k time trial.

Mike Creed rode an undercover Predator at the first World Championship event of 2007 in Spain. This marks the third time a Predator has made an appearance at the World Championships in the last two years. We can’t wait to see Creed defend his US national points race title later this year. After two months of testing the SL Carbon Pro the results are in. The bike not only came in lighter than expected at "997 grams", but also stiffer and more responsive. Predator is proud to announce that we will be taking orders beginning today. Thank you to all who e-mailed about the bike.
